Collegium Trinitatis

Collegium Trinitatis is a university residence located in the heart of the Crocetta district in Turin. Built in 1934 and completely renovated in 2017, the building covers an area of 5000 square metres between Vicolo Crocetta, Largo Cassini and Via Cassini. The residence is located a few minutes away from the Politecnico and 3 km from Piazza Castello, with the local bus service, the underground and the bike-sharing programme easily connecting you to all university buildings and the city centre.

Now member of ACUTO (Associazione Collegi Universitari Torino – Turin Association of University Residence Halls) and ACRU (Associazione Collegi e Residenze Universitarie – University Campus and Residences Association), the residence is the result of a collaboration between Fondazione Crocetta, Anima Giovane s.c.s.r.l. – Altresì Onlus, and the University Pastoral of the Archdiocese of Turin. The residence offers a comfortable environment to 62 students, with its 12 single, 6 large single and 22 double rooms and an on site restaurant catered by Meeting Service, a social co-op specialized in catering courses, restaurants, and catering services.

Animagiovane and Altresì

Born in 2004 in Turin, AnimaGiovane is a social cooperative working both locally and nationally in many fields of activity. Since its beginnings, AnimaGiovane has promoted projects and courses focusing on education, formation and animation as fundamental to human growth. The cooperative collaborates with Altresì, whose ideals, projects, and mission it closely supports.
Altresì Onlus is an association with an attentive eye on social solidarity activites, both local and global, active participation, education, event management, creativity.
Its main project, SCIC (Scuola Creativa di Impegno Civile – Creative School of Civic Engagement), consists of a range of initiatives promoting both thinking and action with regard to community participation, active citizenship and work by offering experiences and training to university students.

Fondazione Crocetta and AnimaGiovane, side by side
Fondazione Crocetta belongs to the Arciconfraternita della SS. Trinità, which since 1577 has provided disadvantaged people with support and hospitality. After 500 years their spirit and vocation haven’t changed, but evolved into a project aimed at welcoming university students coming from outside Turin. Besides owning the building, Fondazione Crocetta is the first supporter of this formative project. To guarantee its quality, they chose to collaborate with AnimaGiovane, having recognized its concrete passion for education, visible in their more than ten year’s experience with university students through the SCIC project. The result is an authentic partnership, going beyond a simple customer-exercutor relationship, and a number of volunteering opportunities for students, the search for scholarships for excellent students, and communication strategies to give our best both on a management and educational level. Together – because missions are best accomplished side by side.
